I've a '99 BJ and was wondering if there is any way to adjust the action on the clutch, currently it feels very long and i want to know if i can shorten it for faster gear changing ^^

yes you can i think.
shorten it for faster gear changingall so you could put a short shifter in to change gears even quicker:D :p

I just did :D but now my clutching is slowing me down, or at least i like to think so hehe

any idea how to shorten the action?

I stuck my head up under the dash but couldn't see much other than the free play adjustment

That is definitely on the books as i do intend to turbo it :)

i was just hoping for a cheaper solution in the mean time

there is none, if would wanna decrease locking time, hence less pedal work, you'll need and stronger/heavier clutch.
