Can anyone recommend a good interior paint, for say a plastic interior? I tried the UHT dye but it flaked off quickly. Theo, did you use paint in your interior? If so, what did you use and how effective/durable have you found it?

i've painted mine. I gave it a light sand, then used a primer, and then a few coats of bumper primer (which is a semigloss black) as i figured it'd be a bit flexible.
but any paint over primer should be fine. just make sure the surface is completely free of grease (even fingerprints) as that'll affect the paints' ability to adhere

Yeah i just used automotive panel paint but i lightly sanded the plastic first, then hit it with the grease and wax remover, then i sprayed it with plastic primer, then i sprayed it with the coat of paint, let it dry, lightly sanded it back, hit it with the grease and wax remover again, and finally sprayed the clear coat on to finish it off :D
I havent had any probs with flaking,it still looks sweet months later
If you spend the time to do it all properly it will last dude

Thanks fellas, I am thinking that maybe I didn't prepare the surface as well as I should, and I didn't use a primer.
I can't sand it back though as the surface I want to paint has a rivot pattern that I'd like to keep. I'll try cleaning and priming, and use a sealant or something over top.
