Instead of eating calimari and drinking Coronas all afternoon. I spent my time:-

Fixing the positive camber issue on the rears.
Loctiteing the swaybar link bolts/nuts and gear level control arm bolts/nuts.
Lowering 5mm and corner weighting the suspension as best as possible.
Removed front wheel/tyre to take to shop tomorrow. 1 tyre is down to canvas, the other to steel!!!

8Kg on the front with 5 in rear. interesting combo.

Have you or how much caster are you going to add over factory - think they were 27 or 32 degress on them.

What make are your endlinks ? I have just bought some adjustable Whiteline links as I couldn't find anything else ??

Bugger. . .

project.r.racing 15-02-2012 05:24 PM

My endlinks are whiteline also.

_stuz_ 15-02-2012 05:31 PM

Hmm, mine look very different to yours. . . . .

This is what I bought

project.r.racing 15-02-2012 07:39 PM

They are both whiteline. Mine is the KLC40- range, yours was the W23180.

I was keen on the KLC140- range, but didn't have the length I wanted.

combo is a experiement. might have to drop the fronts back to 7kg for more oversteer.

caster is 2d35'/2d37', which is only about 0.67 of a degree extra than stock settings.

brass bushing for shift rod is awesome, love the feel. will need to drop the front 2 in also now asap.

done a total of 110km on the coilovers. lol i am very pleased with them. although they are stiffer springs, the suspension actually feels softer on the road. smacked some good potholes due to the rain up here, and didn't have a concern in the end. need to wait for the rains to stop, and give them a really good bashing.

Toda cams + gears sitting in Melbourne awaiting shipping to me. Arrived much earlier than I thought. Should have them in before next track day.

Edit, they are now in the post! Awesome!!!

Sexy gear Ryan, I'm glad to see you finally got the right cams and gears.

project.r.racing 09-03-2012 09:06 AM

Looking for 8-10kW. No tune.

Was mowing today and realized the front door was open. Haven't used the car since Saturday. All compartments are open and iPod is gone. Poo! Lucky no damage to car. Left the headunit in, so must have teens looking for items to sell at school. Grrr!

derb 02-04-2012 04:03 PM

Son of a bitch, you guys need to move into a gated complex or something. Quite a few of us have had 3rd party vandalism/theft occur lately.

marcs_sp20 02-04-2012 05:19 PM

that majorly sucks, and we were only talking about ipod connectivity on saturday afternoon while ebay trolling! :(

Rupewrecht 02-04-2012 05:28 PM

That's crap. At least they didn't do any damage i guess :(
