Melbourne 2004 Summer cruise 'DONE'

A new year and what better reason do we need for a cruise :D

I have a course in mind but need your input to the date, so tick a box and have your say.

Feburary 8th
The meeting point will be in front of the Pit buildings Aughtie Drive, Albert Park F1GP track Melway 2K H11.

If access to Aughtie Drive is unavailable meeting point will be park side of Albert Rd at end of Moray St Melway 2K F5.

Waterslide  at least you don't want much
I'm sure we can find a pier and throw you in

I'm thinking of a short cruise and finishing by a beach with a fish 'n' chip shop. Or something like that :)

sounds like the sort of cruise sik mik would be up for

even better we better make that seaford pier.....dont wanna stray too far from home. mum might get worried :P

Cosmo Dude 03-01-2004 06:58 PM

Seriously it's a little longer than that...
The problem I've found is that most beach side suburbs want you to pay to park on the foreshore :( :( :( and Summer time means the beach is popular (go figure).
I'm sure I'll find the answer tomorrow when I have another look.

I may do the cruise in stages for those with flashy cameras and stop at some interesting places :?:

Hmm, I don't know if I can make it then, my car may be in for repairs at that time. If it's on the road for any of those weekends I should be able to make it.

Cosmo Dude 03-01-2004 08:29 PM

15th is still open.
Don't know why the fourth option (other date) didn't work

I'm cool for the first two options.

pr1mo 04-01-2004 11:49 AM

PINES POOLS PINES POOLS.........

*after a great time on the waterslide Mike walks out to the carpark only find that all cars in attendance have mysteriously continued the cruise without their owners

(sorry an in joke with roddles)

cheers mike

Rupewrecht 05-01-2004 10:49 AM

i'm good for any of theose dates as far as i know.

a few of the caprarks around elwood dont require money, but will be busy as you said.

mrpayner 14-01-2004 12:26 PM

Has anyone given any thought as to the start meeting place.. departure time.. route taken.. and final meeting place for this club meet?

A city meeting point for the initial meeting for city based members would be good [and for me especially!] we can then cruise on down and meet again with the other guys.

Let's get something organised.

Hey guys,

Am a member from WA and am here in sunny melbourne for work reasons for the next 4 or so months. The best part is that that work brought my astina over on the train for me so am not deprived of astina action whilst in Melbourne!

Would love to catch you guys at a cruise! I'm good for 25 Jan or 8th Feb.

Cheers guys.

Cosmo Dude 14-01-2004 01:24 PM

Looking at Feb 8th, be good to have another astina along.

I'll edit the first post :D :D :D

mrpayner 16-01-2004 12:47 PM
