Magic Camber
Magic Camber from Monroe? Is it worthwhile to get one to replace the standard bolt once the car is lowered?
Or chamber is not that big a issue with a lowered distance of 40mm? |
Your suspension place should be able to advise once the car is lowered if they
cant get enough camber for correct handling. Having huge camber if you dont use it simply wears out the inside of the tyres and reduces contact to the road but not enough camber does the same thing. Just think how often you are going to be cornering and how hard you will be doing it. Regards Mal |
Just to correct a bit not enough camber wears the outside of the tyres not the
inside what I meant was it wears the tyres being the same thing. Mal |
Do you have a price on the Monroe camber pins, my rear needs a degree or two more -ve camber.
Whiteline rear sway and front strut brace but not lowered, handels a lot better but over-steers like a bitch. Rod |
The Whiteline camber kits on both ends of mine were a good investment.
The same kits fit BA's and they have a castor kit for BA's as well. |
critter how much did the whiteline kit set u back?
|
I cant remember if they are $90 for 2 or for 4 but its one or the other.
Have a quick look at the whiteline.com.au website. Regards Mal |
Had a look at whiteline and they are $79 for a pair, You'll need a wheel alignment by someone who knows how to set-up suspension and not just go by the book.
