Mat,
yeah i did put it for sale, but still investing money in it.. lol until it is sold..

Not in a rush so yeah..

Orion 21-09-2012 01:58 PM

Interested! :)
Try to get the cost down under $100 as the extra digit will make a big difference to peoples willingness to buy ;)

But this means engine rebuild gets further delayed :(

I'm not in but, just for those who want to know how much this can help cooling

Mazda had this on several cars imported into Australia in the 80's and it worked wonders on early models. Ford counter parts used larger heavier copper code radiators instead.

It's also as far as I can tell via some european books used by Audi Volvo and the like to aid snow and dirt - not entering the engine bay.

I personally think THEY LOOK Great. a top addition to your car.

Hammo 21-09-2012 10:58 PM

Interested. Whats the Payment and shipping options? Are we able to get colors e.g Black?

Rhys 21-09-2012 11:14 PM

Would I be able to get one for a BJ1? Front end is slightly different.

BG1.8sp 22-09-2012 12:56 AM

The anodizing is just a protection layer which will protect the aluminium.

Also avoid scratches.

The colour varies depending how hard you anodize it.

I'll take a photo of an anodized part and post the colour.

You can always powder coat it on top if you want.

Any sort of payment you want, bank transfer, paypal, cash, up to you...

Shhipping should not be expensive, you can choose what type of shipping you want..

depending how many people is interested, if we get 20, the machinist should be able to drop the price by another 7 - 10$ and i should be able to do 100$ shipped anywhere in australia.

Shipping it in groups to one person in the capital cities should also help bring down the cost.

What time frame are you looking at?

+1 for the black.

I'll see if the anodizer can make coloured anodizing.

But i know he can do laser etching and writed stuff on the aluminium.

But that will be an extra cost on top.

We can write Mazda speed, or mazda sp20 or watever people want to be written on it.

BG1.8sp 23-09-2012 10:41 PM

To save on postage for us NSWelsh men you could just ship them all to me, or one other member. Or even better... You come along to another cruise (one which I will attend this time :p )
And we can just pick them up.
Anyway... Thinking to far ahead here! Lol

Yes plz! Find out how much it would cost for an anodised black finish.
Would defs rather that considering my engine bay will be painted black at a later date.

Spykey 24-09-2012 10:28 AM

Am in NSW, so should be all good...

got only 6 people interested so far though...

i'll wait a bit before placing an order.

phildough 24-09-2012 10:33 AM

I should be able to use one of these to straighten my Autoexe replica grille.
It should fit a BJII-J48 1.8 front shouldn't it.
