V6 timing belt questions
 

Hi Folks,

Our 1997 V6 was my late wife's car, then our son drove it for a while. Now I'm selling it. I have no service records but it must be due for a timing belt change.

If I decide to change the belt before selling it, then that cost is going to boost the selling price but it might sell quicker that way.


Is there some way to inspect the V6 belt without too much fuss?

What is considered ball park cost for replacement these days?

Is the V6 an interference motor or not?
