Please Help Identify This Component
 
Hello fellow Astina lover

I have a part that need to be replace but I have no idea what it is called.
I hope that anyone in this forum can identify this component which I believe is use to control digital climate control panel for Lantis V6. I also think it might be a sensor of some sort since it has aluminum fins.

it looks like the fan resistor to me. did it come off the fan box under the dash in the passenger footwell?

Yep, definitely heater fan/blower resistor.

Hint... don't keep the fan on low speed for extended periods. This is when they get too hot.

yes, it did.
is this component something generic and easy to find?
the workshop here refuses to find it for me :(

not easy to find. you cannot get them new. and normally the second hand ones at wreckers are not working properly like the old one you just took out.
