[READ ME] *****BEFORE YOU POST!! ***** For Sale/Wanted POSTING RULES *****

a few simple guidelines for posting in the for sale section - please follow them or risk have your thread deleted!

Subject Line

1. List the type of sale

FS = For Sale
WTB = Wanted to Buy
WTT = Want to Trade
EOI = Expressions Of Interest

2. List the state you are selling from

[VIC]/[NSW]/etc or country [AUS] if applicable

Or if it's an online auction, then [eBay] is acceptable.

3. List the item you are selling

using the bold - {b][/b} tags doesnt work, so don't bother ;)

so it should look something like this

TYPE: [STATE] - Description
or
FS: [VIC] - 1998 Astina 1.8 Hatch

Post Content

1. Put a description
Specifications of items, photos etc

2. Make sure to leave some form of contact details
whether it's via PM, email, phone etc

3. List the Currency if selling from outside Australia
as Australian Dollars (AUD) is the default currency assumed here.

Other details

Group buys now have their own section, so please use it.

Topics posted that don't conform will be asked to edit the title and/or deleted...unless we're lazy

AstinaGT.com takes no responsibility for items being not as described, and is merely a way for items to be listed.

All Purchases are at the Buyers risk.

It is the seller's duty to inform the buyer exactly what they are buying, and that the goods reflect the condition that was stated on the 'for sale' post

Commercial Advertisements

No commercial advertisements without the permission of AstinaGT.com. If you're like the become a trader on AGT, please refer to this thread.

Also add that it is the seller's duty to inform the buyer exactly what they are buying and the goods reflect the condition that was stated on the 'for sale' post...

Just a quick question. I've got an item for sale but I'm having a seniors moment (it happens when you get over 40); how do you post photos with your ad? I've tried everything I can think of but the damn computer keeps laughing at me - I hate it when it does that! You guidance would be appreciated.

platypus 24-01-2005 12:04 AM

you need to have your picture hosted

then after getting the address of the pic place it between [ img ] tags

this is to have no spaces, and point to the pic

then end with an [ /img ] tag...

eg http://www.astinagt.com/forum/templa...logo_phpBB.gif

should be [ img ]http://www.astinagt.com/forum/templates/subSilver/images/logo_phpBB.gif[ /img ]

ALSO If I was interested I'd also like to know that you're in the Ballarat area as hiring a trailer, putting the required fuel in my car to make two trips (one to check out and one to collect) as well as the time I would need to invest may be important.

I know it's an EXAMPLE TOPIC but dude you really need to take a scrubbing brush to that engine. It's a disgrace :p

mrpayner 31-03-2005 07:00 PM

lol.. shuddup! i know.. i know.. it's going to get some treatment very soon.. I just don't know what yet.. ;)

James has introduced me to Carlovers and their degreaser foam! oh lordy lord that stuff does wonders! spray it under the hood, wait about 15mins (scrub engine if necessary) and rinse off. then you have a sparkling engine bay :)

skippy 01-04-2005 12:43 PM

Hoe cautioys do you need to be with that stuff?

What does one want to avoid ie battery, leads any rubber etc,

HOw much whoudl I avoid these things if needed. ie will it blow up the car, break it, cause rust or just not look nice.

Red Frog 02-04-2005 01:19 AM

well....i've done it a couple of times now and everything has always stayed fine and dandy. but it's ur choice. i spose i do risk it, but then again its worth it - the transformation is pretty kewl ;)

platypus 02-04-2005 01:24 AM

generally you need to keep on topic, and cover all exposed filters and electricals

most HT leads are sealed quite well, especially the ones on the DOHC models

Rupewrecht 07-06-2006 12:45 PM

Come on monkeys, follow the Rules. It's not that hard.

Otherwise i'll start changing your threads to sales of sex toys, or animals..or both.
