Usually I'm not a fan of that much camber, but you pull it off well :)
Looks very well done, and welcome. :D

I agree, I thought they were model cars at first glance.

Absolutely love the stance - sits perfectly, and yeah the car really does look like a model car in the carpark pics :p

thanks guys very much for having me here and for your warm welcomes. :)

usually, Im not a big stance fan myself either, however as I get older, I find that I just want to lay back and cruise. I have been to road racing school here in CA and have tracked my car many times. I have canyon raced more time in the last 20+ years than I'd like to admit. Now Im 42yo and would like a change of pace. So, I purchased these wheels dirt cheap, threw some tires on there, did some chassis adjustments and alignment, and now I have a whole new look and feel. Surprisingly, the ride and handling is much better than I thought. Coming from a road racing background, I thought for sure setting my car up this way would send it into a tizzy. Having so much camber on the street seems a bit odd for sure. But I was wrong. Car drives nice and straight, handles really nice and flat, and just seems really driveable. I aligned the front and rear to 0 toe and I have yet to see weird tire wear. *knock on wood* Not what I was expecting at all. So, yea Im happy so far. :) I get way more compliments now than I have ever since I bought it in 2002. hehe
Sorry to jab on like that. lol

Hi Marc! Nice place you got here. Mind if I stay awhile? :)

Im surprised it was able to fit 0+ 8's on there! Whats the factory offset anways?
I smuggled 0+ 8's on my cressida and snug just under the guard, but that was with a factory offset of positive 22

Looks good. im a bit of a stance whore, you have some good poke, without going rediculous.

A.E 27-04-2011 03:55 PM

Welcome, love the pics that look like model cars! Do your tyres rub on the guards at all?

o.g.sk8er 29-04-2011 03:04 AM

thanks very much. :)
I dont hardly rub at all now. but when I first installed these wheels, I was rubbing over every little bump. so I added some camber, rolled/flared/hammered the gaurd/fenders and its so much better. It does still rub, so this weekend I'll apply some masking tape to the inside wheel wells, then drive around to make it rub so I can see where it actually is rubbing. weird there are no marks that I can see. hope that works.

I noticed one thing about the P5s. You get a different rear bumper to us. Is it P5 only or all 323s?? I love it I want one lol.

o.g.sk8er 30-04-2011 02:14 AM

yes our rear bumpers stick out a bit further than yours. but I do like that underskirt you guys have that I dont. I want that portion for my rear bumper. hehe
the P5's and the sedans rear bumpers are a bit longer than our overseas cousins. :)

o.g.sk8er 04-05-2011 02:47 AM

recent pic. not great but I like it for some reason. lol
