This cruise is an attempt to 'rebirth' the car cruise scene, as it was discussed previously the cruise scene is dying out. The cruise will be in conjunction with dbqueen's cruise for the Alison Hunter Memorial Foundation.

Alison Hunter was a 19 year old girl that struggled with a chronic illness for years before finally dying from various complications.

Details

16th Of January is the set date and we are heading to Speers Point

Sydney Meet Up
Please be at P6 Car park at 10:00am for a 10:30am departure however we will be leaving at 11:00am sharp.

Newcastle Meet Up
Please be at the Wallsend Twin Servo's at 10:30am for 10:45am departure to cruise to the Twin Servos on the Central Coast and meet the Sydney group, then cruise to Speers Point Park with them.
Alternately Newcastle people can simply meet at Speers Point Park

There will be a BBQ/Sausage sizzle at the venue along with a raffle.

Sounds like it will be a good day, illl meet up with you all at speers point park. Its good that they want to reboot the cruise scene because of late I have seen practically no one on the fore shore at night thanks to the boys in blue.

How many people are going from astina gt and mat how many people are going from team dream at this stage?

dont know at this stage with the TD crew coz we also have to fix up stuff for the Sydney Car Festival but i think that there will be a few anyway that are going to make there way up there

P6 carpark is the car park at homebush for the sydney guys that are going to cruise it is the usually place where most of the cruises start due to its location

its drawing cloes im getting pretty excited, it looks like its going to be a huge turnout. Howmany other people from the newcastle are meeting at speers point.

I am busting my chopps to get to this cruise....

I have done so much work to get my car ready, and by the time the cruise is on, I will have my bonnet re-sprayed (looks shabby at the moment), and I am laughing.

I just hop no dickheads show up, last thing we need is people so ar up themselves to come and stuff it for everyone else.

I'll be there cant wait its a big month for cruising theres a big one on the 30th aswell so should e good!

Guys,

I will be waiving a charity bucket around while I am up at this cruise, ALL donations will be going to Oxfam for the Tsunami appeal, and any donations over $20 will get a receipt as well for taxation purposes.

So everyone, bring your piggy bank, and shed at lest a few coins of loose change, every little bit helps, and what we spend on foo or coffee (even fuel for the day) will be enough to feed a family over there, or supply them with some fresh clean water (yadda yadda yadda).

The reason OxFam was chosen as the donation organsation is because they are garaunteeing 90c to every $1 will get to the people that need it most, this is the highest garauntee I could get from several charity organisatons this week, so I have made te choice :)
