turbo manifold
 
will the turbo manifold from a BPT fit onto the normal BP in a BA 1.8lt?? any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm no expert but I think it does from what I've read on here, although I may be wrong.

It will but a BP NA was not designed to run boost. By the time you buy the bits
seperately to make it, you could have bought a BPT and had change left over.

thanx guys, i might do sum more reseach on the cost of turboing the N/A BP and the cost of a BPT conversion

GTX conversion is fairly straightforward. Time consuming, but straight forward.

Dont just get a BPT turbo and whack it on ur BP.... itll die... Also if ur going to put a BPT on a rebuilt BP make sure you get all the piping and a GTX AFM as well.

how much do you want for the afm?

I had to open mine up and fix it up and it may be a bit dodgy. I wouldnt mind a spare.
