Hey there folks.

I will be on the Gold Coast at the end of August and would like to have a mini meet of sorts.. I was thinking dinner and catching up with regulars and new members during my stay on the GC.. My friends flatmate has a Series 6 RX7 which could be brought along.

So i'd like to catch up with you! If you're interested please leave you post of interest here! Nothing has been finalised yet, however I'm certain that i'll be there..

Do you think you could make a day of it on the 20th August? http://www.astinagt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4740 We did try this with Chipa once, we didn't quite get that much time to catch up, but I'm sure we can organise something spezial for you. Anyhow, we are having din dins at Hoe's Breath that night too, you might be able to catch up for some of the days action assuming you are around the place then?

Geeze you guys must live in the dark....we used to see the winter exodus of VIC caravans every year on the highway in toowoomba...and the coasts, particularly the sunshine coast are full of retired VIC and NSW people. And the number of people down here that go to QLD every year...I myself moved with my family to QLD in the early 80's from Sydney.....so WTF am I doing down in Melb?

Adam it would be good to catch up finally, although I will be shotgunning again as the Batmobile is now officially off the road (I dont have the heart to put any more smoke in peoples faces that isnt coming from my tyres) until the end of the year. When it will be back to literally terrorise the streets of Brissy and the country roads and the cruises and Willowbank and most probably all of the eastern states as Australias toughest 'all motor' Astina and I will be Damn keen to keep that pseudonym for as long as physically possible or at least unyil I can afford a Quaife Gearbox to keep the Project III engine on the ground?????????

It's a shame you can't coordinate it with the big Jambo up that way in Sept.
That's when Aaron and I are thinking of heading up that way.

The guys n gals from QLD will show you a good time, they have always been great when Aaron and I have visited - how many times now? I forget :P
