Mazda Astina 1990 5 Red cap turn right near front left radiator
 

Hi again

I was just checking oil reserves, etc and saw this red cap that said to turn right.

I did it thinking it was a oil or other replacement thing.

It vibrated in my hand - and did it 4 times - same again and it wanted to turn back again anti-clockwise - is it a ghost

What is this - the car was off as well.

Just a newbie.

I am the same guy about speakers last week.

Replaced the front & rear speakers son used tools at school to replicate the rear speaker covers/carpet - I re-engineered the rear speaker mounts with the aid of a press drill so they could be mounted - front speakers went in well.

About to replace the new head unit shortly.

What's the red turn right about - it doesn't remove anyway or go back anti-clockwise - just vibrates

PS looking at a Mazda 323 Atstina backup car 1994. Do the components/series etc match up to the existing 1990 model tyres, engine, gearbox etc

A picture of the cap would be useful, sometimes people replace things like caps with new colourful ones. Did it say anything else like do not open if hot?

After checking this morning there are two of them I gather something to do with the pop-up lights. Not sure what the turn right means though - maybe manually closes them if there is a fault with the internal turn-on/off light switch on steering column.

They're manual winders for the pop-up lights - so you can move the lights up and down with the battery disconnected should you need to.
