10m makes me think you have a broken adjuster or a fully misaligned headlight - be interested to see if HID can fix that, or just light up the 10m in front of you better.

sounds to me like the bulbs aren't setup correctly... to far back or forward will change how the bulb interacts with the output.

unclip it and have a play with them on, i'd think that pulling them...

you can also butcher the stalk off a 626 and the MPV - i believe...
