It would be easy to rip a USB key from an original, 'bout as easy as having a toothed key copied at a locksmith. Trick is to have the original.......
The Mazda USB probably also has the remote central locking that activates the door handles (when you get close). It is better than the Mercedes Benz 'proximity card' system that has been 'round for some years as it offers more features such as downloading MP3s or ECU patches.
