Mat. I read this question and wanted to slap you.
Even if the rear pads aren't any bigger, it still gives it a brake up grade and the pads clamp on a lager ratio of the disc par revolution.
Say before the with the old discs there 250mm I think. And the new discs are 314mm or what ever they are. Now do that measurement in pie. And work out the rolling diameter of the rotor to pad ratio.
Same thing as goo and get you old pushy. Spin one of the wheels up. And try and stop it spinning by grabbing it right down near the axel then do it again but at the tyre. 10x easier isn't it
same thing your breaks are trying to do.
