well a new short block was ordered from a local shop and it consists of

then once we get that back it will be attached to the rebuilt automatic trans that's already here( auto trans was a requirement from him).

i have new aluminum heads for it, and Edelbrock intake and the race carb that was already on it. the rear end gears are currently 2.73 and those will be changed as well once the engine is done for a better ratio. this car is his weekend/ show car so it does not have to be good on gas...

the motor was a 305 originally, it will be a stroked 383 when we are done plus the rest of the goodies that will be installed.
