So, a deal came up that i couldn't refuse, and i've got a Garrett GT28RS sitting in the shed now.
It's a GT2860R with the Nissan S15 front housing, and i've got both the 0.64 and 0.86 rear housings - so i can start of smaller and the down th track get a littl more power if i get bored.
Just the turbo though (not the manifold pictured), as i've still got my old T3 manifold which i'm going to chuck a T2>T3 adapter onto, as i don't really want to hack off the flange and lose the HPC coating. Same with the dump - but that needs a 5 bolt flange to replace the T4 flange on there now.
The old manifold i'll reuse. Offset nicely to keep the air conditioning and still have a 3" dump pipe off the turbo.
So, looks like the engine itself will be coming out for some internal work soon, and the gearbox being changed too. Some big changes coming!
