too complicated tony.

1 person to organise keeps it simple and more fun for everyone else.

basicly need a start point, tell peps how many km they will travel, clues to get from start point to finish point. you only tell the peps the general area of finishing, but not the actual location. eg redcliffe area.

no gps, no mobile phones. timed between points. each car departs start 90 seconds apart to make sure other cars do not follow eachother. at certain point along the way, eg "at 75km, on the side of the road is a white sign with what writing on it?" each missed answer = +5 mins to time. so 5 missed questions = +25 mins. so you gotta make sure you stop and answer the questions.

to make sure no one is speeding, also have a set time that the course should take, so anyone that is too fast, will also be penilized for speeding. +1 mins for every minute you are too fast. (although you could just wait around the corner from the finish, look at your watch, and get moving just before the aloted time. each team would know how much time it should take, as it would be one the paperwork.

so the team with the lowest time wins!

all cars have 1x driver and 1x navigator. one to drive safely, the other doing the paperwork. passengers will be okay, but just make sure they ain't back seat drivers. lol

have a bbq at the finish point. you probably want it 200km/3hrs max. i would assume a fee of $10 per car should cover the organisers costs. (fuel when doing prep work and finish line bbq.)

something around nebo, dayboro, d'aguilar would be fun.
