No not older, same age as the GTX motors.

What I think Mal is saying is that due to the age of all the engines, it's wise to do a rebuild....and with a GTR engine, it's not worth the extra money you pay to get one, only to rebuild it. You can save thousands buying a GTX engine, and spening the money you would have paid to get a GTR engine, and rebuilding it up to the GTR spec.

That way you have a fresh engine, for the same price as a used GTR one.
