replacing defective wiring is a must, but be honest: that's not the common reason for most people to pull new wires.
marketing bastards managed to make a lot of people believe that the newest super xxx action wiring with 0.001% less oxygen and the secret vodoo insulation is a worthy investment for their car audio setup, while it is clearly not.
