The minidisk actually connects through the AUX IN. I believe the button is AUXIN/MD or something to that effect.
Minidisc isnt a full DIN. its just a small module that sits between the two large round control knobs.
I still have my stock headunit in, but I do have an aftermarket headunit that will be going in soon.
There is a 'How-To' on getting better performance out of the stock unit. It does require some electronics work and soldering but i hear the results are impressive. Head over to
