Response from MX5Plus. Not a in-depth technical response I believe there's no spacers just the caliper brackets.

Mal,

The calipers bolt straight on; the discs fit the hubs, the brake
hoses connect perfectly, the handbrake cables fit.

The only blemish is that the brake backing plates need to be
"dressed" to prevent interference with the larger discs and
calipers. Some owners have removed the plates altogether.
