Everything else looks like it will be a straight swap. The wiring looms seem to be the same.
One strange thing we found about the import engine is that its fitted with a genuine Momo corse oil filter.
Never seen one and didn't know they even existed.
I hope that down the line you would be looking at fitting up a G-series box - I understand that it isn't possible at the moment. I would be looking at putting a fairly soft clutch to reduce the stress on your F-series box in the meantime.

Also, while you are waiting, have you plugged in the Mazdaspeed ECU to see if it connects to your dash, starts the fuel pump, runs the HVAC controls etc?
