Forgetting AWD, I only know FWD, but here goes: The rear swaybar on the BJ has always had an issue with sliding from side to side (if not originally delivered with stock jambstops). This is your clunk, the swaybar either hits the lateral links or your reaching the end of the endlink's limits. I'm not sure which it is, but that's it. Now, it might not be so like that on the AWD, I would need to see a piccy to clarify. However, if it is what I describe, you can simply buy some jambstops to prevent the swarbar from sliding aroud. Note that if it is sliding, you should see grease or wear marks on the bar itself...
