I have a BA V6 and a mate has a BA 1.8,
Was pretty much even when we did um compare but he went overseas before I really mastered manual.
He drove mine and said it was a bit quicker,
I drove his and noticed some difference, nothing huge.
One thing is for certain at new retail price you would not of spent the extra 8k (I think) on the V6 soley for more power (12kw).
