All SP20's have an OBDII connection, which is beside the bonnet pull. Most mechanic workshops should have a OBD code reader...
What kind of playing around are you looking at doing, just clearing CEL codes? if so, I'd suggest buying a scangauge II, clears codes and shows 4 different gauges at the same time
