if your car came with a spare wheel (not just a repair kit) then you need to have it in the car.
however i have noticed alot of new cars lately just have a repair kit (even thought they have the actual well in the boot to fit a spare tyre.)
In otherwords u could probly get away (law wise) not having one.
just hope you dont get a flat 100km in the middle of no where..
