so i assume its a pretty involved process to take the manifold off and do a DIY job of this? mazda seem to want a fair bit of time to do the repair...

i dunno about "if it hasnt happened by now it wont happen" my line of thinking is that if it hasnt happend, theres more chance it will as it gets older!

i wonder about the chances of my car having already passed a screw at some point in the last 7 years without the previous owner (my mum) knowing! hence damaging a valve and somehow resulting in my irritating engine tap which i keep blaming on valve clearance!
