in need of help

I have a mazda 1986 B2000 FE with a 2bbl carb I have had the head port and polished. The truck is great, it just seems to be a slug up hills. I was curious if any one knows of any parts from the 626 or the 929 that might be transferable to gain more power.

G'day,
There are not a lot of parts made for the RWD FE engine
Using the EFI from an HB 929 shouldn't be too difficult and will improve power and torque as well as improving fuel economy. The FEs also enjoy a good set of headers and a freeish exhaust.
