I might be getting my tail-lights smoked out on Tuesday... I don't really know too much about it, just the fact that you can use book contact haha. Try and get a hand applicator, so you can work out air bubbles etc.

oh okay, spray tint. my cousin has the stick on stuff. It's like book contact hahaha, but obviously a lot better, and more expensive.

I've heard stockings (Yeah, the thing ladies where on their legs) actually look pretty good.
Otherwise, its called nightshade, you can get it from supercheap. Just do light coats at a time, then buff them so they are shiny. |

But Niteshades is a permanent tint. If for whatever reason you accidentally go too dark, as Smurfy pointed out its incredibly difficult to get off. Personally it's better to get a film put over the top like Lamin-X gunsmoke, that way if anything happens (either defect, or change of mind) you can just remove the tint and the lights will be back to normal hassle free.

no they don't. it's a tacky fad from the 90s. leave 'em standard or buy aftermarket.

the red car looks okay due to it having alot of matt black bits and pieces on it already.
the grey car it doesn't suit it at all. it is alot of dark gloss black jumping out of nowhere on one section of the car. without much other black on the car. guess it is a difference of opinion. |

at the end of the day it's all personal opinion, i like my tail lights as the stock red didn't match anything on the car, where as the black taillights now are easier on the eye,
i say go for it man an as you said if you don't like it or you get defected(which you shouldn't i've never had a problem) you can just get new ones or just buff it with some paint thinner's so it's not as dark, was one of the best things i've done to mine IMO to my car as the red looked s#*t and as i said before everyone has there own personal opinion just like (HOLDEN or FORD) the old saying if you can't say nothing nice don't say it

Yer even if you just did a light coat just so the reds not so bright it'd give it a little more tougher look, and tape the reveres and indicators

Its not much work at all.
1. Find a wrecked SP20 and grab the complete hubs with brakes. 2. Swap hubs and brakes. (you can re use your 1.8 calipers as they are the same.) 3. Enjoy 5 stub hubs and the huge range of rims offered |
