You can try hijacking the wiring from one of the stock sensors [take the one near the main cat, not the pre-cat], but you might change the resistored length of the signal wire. You will know if you have, as the numbers will be spaz, and you car may not run right.
You're gonna get bad oscilation with a narrowband gauge... Gav. |

You're gonna get spaz results putting a wideband gauge on a narroband sensor [stock]. Find out if it's wideband or not, and if it is, you will need to buy a Bosch wideband sensor and bung that in somewhere. As I said earlier, your gauge may interfere with the sensor and make the car run whacky. Dissconnect it for now, until you get sort the other stuff out.

Bosch wideband sensor shouldn't be too much. i bought an Innovate Motorsports LC-1 for my falcon back in the day and apart from all their cool componentry, that system functioned off a Bosch sensor that cost about US$80.
http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/x...cat=271&page=1 here is the link to the sensor from their web store. but you could look up the part number [LSU4.2] here in australia. |

yeh that's all backwards. plus once it's past 14 that's too lean already, and 17 parts of air to 1 part fuel is just downright dangerous.

Actually Derb, the stock BJ does go into the 17s on part throttle/cruise/over-run, and happily does it. But will also drop down to the 10s and 11s under load, which this gauge won't even show. Then there is the whole backwards thing, assuming that's not a misprint...?
