alarm / immobiliser question

im after an alarm for the astina, must have remote centeral locking, shock sensor and all the ususal security stuff ... any recommendations??

i asked this question b4 ... some people recommended the Jaycar one that pages ya..

but i heard off my brother that it was **** and he had it and all..

Ive heard theres a rhino one for 600 bucks which SMS's you when your alarm is going off..

and i wouldnt recommend the shock sensor... just movement sensors in car... cause stereos and loud exhaust will be setting your alarm off..


Ive heard that Mongoose and Rhino alarms are good...

So far all i know =P

umm you can turn the sensors down, they have an adjustment on the shock snsor

I'd just trust that it's a 10+ year old car. Unless you know its history then why would you want to steel it.
If you did know its history then you'd know it has been thrashed and still wouldn't steel it anyway
