2003 SP20 VICS Special service

hey there

guess what, mazda have found the VICS problem in my 99 1.8L! so my tap tap noise is not the valvetrain, its loose VICS screws. Apparently i havent lost any yet but they are on the way. My dealer submitted a technical report to Mazda about the prob because they have never heard it afflicting a 1.8 before and i am waiting to hear back as to what they will do about it.

So basically, if u have weird rattle noises from the manifold/injector area in any 1.8 or 2.0L BJ Astina, get it checked out! year model/manufacture date doesnt seem to count anymore
