Why buy one that may not fit
go to your local exhaust shop and get them to bend you up one that fits, then have if chromed/powder coated
Autobarn etc have the silicone rubber joiners and hose clamps

well for one, the method that you suggested will cost about 150..
i dunno if that will fit a bg cus i dont have one, but you do and u also have a measuring tape.. if u dont get one and measure out according to the pic. my guess would be not by itself, but it would be a great piece cus of the plug for blow back, after you get a elbow (IC piping from autobarn/super****) u got 10" of straight pipe there with 4" after the bend, which to me looks more like a 30 rather than a 60 as stated in the add but thats prob the photo...

Ahh but what price on doing it right first time
you can make it look like cr@p by trying to fit something else using adapters or do it with custom made to measure and it will look 100% better

I know not everyone can afford the $150 straight up, get it made first, then have it coated/chromed later on when you've saved some more
Been there done that 25 years ago and hated how it turned out, now I do it right the first time

Seen too many half @rsed jobs that could have been done better just to save a few $$

Sorry for the Hijack but just giving some input for the younger guys out there if that's ok

If the diameter is correct for your throttle body or AFM and the length is correct maybe. You have to make sure the angle of the bend is correct so that the AFM is located correctly and you may still need a another elbow

For me if I were going to do something like that

A straight piece from the TB out and into a 90deg bend and into the AFM mounted against the shock tower(which would then be sitting at 90deg to the engine instead of the 45deg(?) standard), then another straight into a 90deg bend and into a Pod or other custom air filter box sitting where the original air box sits

This of course changes the length of your induction which would probably also change the engine's performance. but is would give a much more custom look that the polished replacement that everyone else has

Why the 90 degree bends? You may as well keep the old intake if you're going to be restricticting free flow anyway.

I'd suggest just measuring it all up then going down to autobarn/supercheap and buying intake piping to suit. Easiest option, garunteed to fit and you get the DIY satisfaction

90deg mandrel bends don't restrict flow enough to matter
