I'd be keen if it was a night cruise... if it's on a weekend tho i'd become a 50/50 due to birthdays and going out etc...
But weekday cruise I'd be down for I think. I'd suggest fordlaser.com and ozmazda.com as alternatives to invite.

Anything light and FWD would work...
However what i've found is that honda's generally don't gel with us too well... not sure why.

they don't?
i won't be going to cruises much if at all anymore i think. found a front strut has been leaking in the GTR so anything more then regular suburban driving isn't a good idea for me.

fordlaser.com normally have a good turn out
id invite ozmazda and mazda 247 theres a nissan pulsar club on the web as well as toyota corolla (and GT starlets as i mentioned before) suzuki swift gti's have a club, nissan pulsar and lancers/mirages id give hondas a miss as they only really want to compare vtecs to other engines (in my experiences and this gets old fast) high end car clubs are ok depends on the group really and maybe look at wrx's, rx7's, skylines and supra clubs if you really want just some suggestions. if any will attend i dont know |

Nah they seem not to.
They can be a bit snobby from what i've found. I know a few really nice lads but as a general community it's really more of a posers scene and not the drivers scene if you know what I mean. The astina's got 2 front dry struts which means nothing too hot for a while either...

anything more ends up being too hard to hold together. and the more of a variety of cars you invite, especially if they're gonna be completely different such as domestics, or the turbo drifters crowd it will give it a different feel. I'd suggest light NA FWD's ... RedLineGTi are a good mob to cruise with actually. Nice guys, and fun zippy cars to set the pace. edit: I remember a cruise a while ago where I ended up getting like 50+ cars and even thought it worked, it was segregated, the groups didn't mix as well as hoped. The Honda's were sitting there talking sh!t, the aristo's were doing their own thing... it's just looked like a highschool playground where everyone was in their little groups and was talking about why they were better... It sucked. And it was hard to logistically hold together. So short, sharp and shiney... and if you can get like minded people together, then it will work. So pulsars, lasers, gti's etc. That's my 2 cents.

Who ever wants to organise this, maybe come up with a date first and see how you go from there? If numbers are short expand the range of cars?

we have had omc members & astina members on fl.com cruises... never at the same time but always a fun cruise. our next fl.com event is dyno day end of march & trying to get a cruise to wallaroo happening mid april. if your wanting to invite fordlaser let me know as im event manager for SA on fordlaser... must admit ever since spencer left SA there hasnt been much action in this section of astina.
