Help with leads!

hey guys! this might sound like a stupid question but how does one change the leads on a 95 BA hardtop (2ltr V6)? I've heard that this is easy but since I have never done this before I would appriciate any help!

Thanks!

Just take piccies of it while still on the car,

then unplug one side of old lead plug in new lead, follow old lead, unplug other end of old lead plug in other end of new lead. Repeat 5 more times and your done.

not hard but take piccies in case you stuff up,

yup easy to do.

When you get the leads they will all be different lengths.
The longer one is obviously going to be the one that reaches the furthest plug.

Do them one at a time - you need to make sure you get the order right. Very important.

yeah what he said,

Another option, is take one lead completly off, find the similar size lead and put it back on its place, then next lead fully off........

When I'm changing leads I usually mark the dizzy cap with a permanent marker. It will still show up on a black dizzy cap. As long as you write down or remember what the cyclinder numbering is, you cannot go wrong.

Considering it would save a fair bit of time and cost little to no extra money, I'd say it was Mazda that was smart... Now if only all dizzy caps had it.....

What ever you do, make sure you follow the advice given here. Don't do 2 at once, it's horrible seeing what happens to a car when the leads are mixed up. One at a time. Had a friend whom owned a Daweoo, he just ripped em all out and dropped the new ones in, turned the ignition, car went CLUNCK!!! Took him the rest of the day to even get it to start, and a week before it ran smoothly again.
