Astina 97 clutch adjustment

Hi, just got my hands on a used Astina 97 hatch. I think the clutch needs adjusting....but told its still fairly good as it doesn't slip etc. I'm told its hydroligic and can be bleaded similar to the brakes.

Can anybody give some tips on how to do it? We can I find the valve/bleeding items etc?

Cheers.

clutch adjusting

It grips right up the top....hence why I've been advised to adjust first.

Astina standard clutches grip at the top
You can only adjust the height of the pedal.

The adjustment on the push rod is for freeplay make sure you got atleast 5mm play before it touches inside master cylinder. Pedal height should be equal to brake pedal height.Adust for that is infront of clutch pedal. If the pedal is taking up real high sounds like it is starting to wear or pressure plate is worn . If pedal is real low it has a hydralic fault. To bled clutch get your helper to hold pedal down and crack bleader nipple on slave cylinder then close it off again. repeat till no air comes out. Clutch should take up about midway for a new clutch
