if you search you'll find instructions on grounding the ECU and adjusting the idle screw

If u dont ground the TEN terminal in diagnostic connector, you will not be bale set the base idle correctly. it will be like chasing your own tail as ECU compensates for any changes you do to base idle without grounding TEN.

As above, the correct way to do it is to connect GROUND and TEN before turning the idle screw. I posted an alternative (read: wrong) way to do it in another thread and got into an argument about it with Cosmo, who was right the whole way through. It did work but it was completely the wrong way to go about it, so I've just found the thread and deleted my posts there.
Sorry Cosmo, I was a noob |

He must have connected B+ to GND!! (can happen as TEN & B+ are right next to each other), which can draw up to 10A of current and melt all insulation and plastic bits.

Depends what sort of a damage its done to the wiring. All those wires directly connected to the ECU through main harness. If its just the plastic box damaged , then you can replace that with another one from another astina . You may still have to do some soldering to join wires. Hopefully your ECU is not damaged by this accident !!
