Exclamation ticking noise/thumping when driving

hello i have had this ticking noise when driving from the engine. it has being doing it for about 2 months now, 1.6 astina 1989.thanks for any help

update:today on the highway it started doing the noise again so i just keep on driving 3mins later it was overheated pass the H symbol
so i pulled over.and looked at the radiator oil and it was full and the fans was working .so do you guys have any ideas what is causing it

vapour lock??
perhaps someone who bled the engine didnt get all the air out..
that way everything will work fine, except that the engine has no way of cooling itself properly..

radiator oil?

if it's overheating and the is water in the system, then the water pump has gone.

lol i mean i have oil in my radiator.it is green too

there is no water in the over flow bottle and none it the radiator so it cant be the pump i think

the radiator is in good conduction it looks like its 2 years old or so
