My323 Part 2

Sorry guys I fell a sleep, thanks for the comments. Any way back to the story, wait I got a bit ahead of my self, before any thing was taken of my car I had to fix it up enough for a blue slip, the biggest thing was the tyres lucky I had a mate who had a sss pulsar the tyres fitted straight on. So off to the mechanic I went, to my surprise again it passed I had only had the car for 4 days. After that I went and got a green slip and then went to the rta to get rego and plates for the car.12 months rego and back on the road in 4 days after sitting under a tree for 4 years I was very proud of my self and my Mazda Astina 323.After that I went looking for another engine that would bolt straight in and some spare parts I needed it was not easy as I had no knowledge about Mazda’s(I should of signed up to Astina GT as soon as I got my car it would of saved me allot of headaches and money) as the last 6 cars I had owned had all been Holden’s 3 of them where V8's.After a week of looking I find a guy who was selling a blue 91 astina 323 I thought it wont help me out with the engine but it would be good for all the parts I needed, he did not tell anything about the car he said just come have a look at it I need it gone this week so I did it was just out of rego the body was terrible dents every where the paint had crows feet all through it the interior was different colours and the dash had all holes in it where some gauges once where but some things caught my eye the first thing was the front seats I asked him what they where out off and he said they where from a Mazda familia. Next thing was a boost gauge on the floor I asked him why he had it in the car and he said for the engine so I quickly popped the bonnet to have a look, I was very surprised and excited when I saw the engine I asked him where it was from and he said a Mazda familia I had not heard of this car before well I said that explains the seats and the different hand brake console. I asked if it would bolt straight in and he said it should. I could not believe my luck I found all the parts I needed including a 2 and a half inch exhaust, the engine and wiring harness and computer all in one car. I told him I would take it off his hands, he wonted a bit more then what I was looking to pay but I thought I am a man on a mission and my car needs a new heart and I don’t need any more delays so I paid him and back to my place (really my mums place lol) the car went. I had the cars facing each other about 2 meters apart I thought all I have to do is get my bro and some mates to give me a hand, an engine crane some tools some brake steering and gearbox fluid and some coolant and then it would be just a matter off taken my engine, wiring harness and computer, standard exhaust, fuel tank and both cv joints out and replacing them with what was in the blue car. It was going to be easy I thought back on the road in 3 to 4 days’ how very wrong was I, what was to be my heaven was soon to become my HELL! Goodnight every one will continue tomorrow!
