WTB: [SA] 97 KW BP Engine for BG Astina SP
I'm looking for a running BP Engine for a SP BG Astina, Preferably in Adelaide, South Australia , Australia, looking to pay about 450-700 dollars, any help would be great.

89-94 BP engines are 92kw, aren't they?

According to wikipedia, now we all know it's not to reliable but the previous owner stated he dynoed mine before all went wrong and it was at 97 KW and wikipedia states 96.

Redbook states that they're 92, I've been told by a lot of mates and even my former mechanic that it's a 97.

I think you'll find the wiki refers to the Euro BGs, which didn't have a cat converter and were a little more powerful because of it

Fair enough, I get that, all the same I need a new engine, my block is cracked, head is cracked and needs a water pump and timing belt
