All I got is a phone call received from a blocked number (a smart stalker) Big thanks to you Marc for running this GB... And constantly putting up with me changing my mind on stitch ... Looks like it didn't really matter anyway But Oh well... Still happy Looking forward to installing!

Fitted mine last night. Took ages but looks pretty awesome compared to what it looked like before. That said, it's not as awesome as I'd imagined, but still worth $70!
I'll post up a pic soon. Oh, and if anyone knows a decent way to secure the top of the gear boot, tell me please! |

I used 2 small zipties from the inside (you have to inside out the boot first)
Rod & Aaron, did yours come???

Yeah mate got my stuff yesterday!
Thanks Marc!! I'm going to wait until next weekend for the install... Got a mazdaspeed handbrake comming so going to do that at the same time. I already have a mazdaspeed bung... Got it with my shifter MS shifter. The boots are good quality... Don't look like fun to install. And the console cover should be interesting :/ lol

Question.... I have a mazdaspeed CF look shifter knob... just installed my leather boot.
I cannot use my Mazdaspeed shifter bung with this knob, and do not require the bung due to the length of the knob. now... if I was to get a short shifter... am i going to then require the shifter bung? (is there a greater gap between the big fat cylinder and the top of the threaded part of the shifter?)
