G'day guys
How you going guys & girls(Where Applicable) :P
My name is Jayce, I'm 22, Work as a Metal Fabricator and Welder at Hofmann Engineering here in sunny Perth, Western Australia. I've always been around the Mazda B series/Ford Laser scene of modifying for the last 5 years but given up after owning 20+ Ford Lasers. I abandoned my last one after thinking hard about all the money and time spent on these.(Wasted if you ask my wife) My last one was an oldie - 1986 Ford KC TX3, Mazda B5-ZE DOHC conversion, rare factory LSD G series box and a few bits and pieces here and there.. Sold it off for a dime. Anyway within the last few months i have had nothing to do with cars, no modifying, no working on or even servicing of cars. It has basically driven me insane. I have been driving a 2008 Hyundai Accent, 1.6litres of big block fury.. Automatic i might add too. Stripped me of all my dignity, As my mates called it - Basically a vagina on wheels.. Anyway fast forward a few months, Driving home from night shift, I fell asleep behind the wheel and plowed straight into a tree at 80kph.. As you can imagine, She didn't survive. So here i am today, Working out what is next.. Actually, that bit is made up. Once my insurance money clears which it has as off today i think, I am off on a 390km road trip down south to pickup my new love. It's a 2003 Mazda 323 SP20 BJ-II J48, 5speed manual (ofcoarse), Bright yellow paint, 135,000Kms on the odo. Stock as a rock.. Which won't stay that way. Will be dropped to the ground and some custom work will begin within the first few weeks of ownership, Huge plans but will see what eventuates as it will be my daily commute as well. However, I'll leave it at that for now. I'll be on here alot more when i take ownership of her. Ciao. Here is a initial sale picture of her. |

Thanks for the warm welcome guys.
I'll be making a project thread straight away. Knowing myself, I'll get carried away with spending seeing as there is a solid aftermarket base for these cars. |
