How much $$$ for a garnish?
Hey guys,
Recently I backed over a garbage bin (I parked for 10 minues and in that time someone put their bin out behind me, i didnt realise and just backed right over the F*****N thing) So anyway the rear garnish on my lantis hatch (the plastic strip attached to the hatch, which contains the reverse lights and the "mazda" and "323 Astina" badges) has a nice big crack down it Its just a piece of reflective plastic... one quote I got froma wrecker was $550 new or $440 for "s/h as new"... seems a bit steep to me for a piece of friggin plastic... anyone had to get this replaced before? its so much money for plastic i dont know if i can justify it |

or fix the crack and paint it to match the body.
You're paying for Mazda to keep these parts in a warehouse for several years untill you need one, the wrecker would base his price on that.
