Picked up a new Keyboard
Bought the Logitech G110 the other day, it arrived this morning and I have to say, VERY impressed!
Before I bought it, I looked through about 10 or 11 different keyboards and read/watched reviews and this one was the one that stuck out for me that wasn't ridiculously priced. A few people told me to get the Logitech G15 or G19, or the Razer Black Widow/Lycosa, however all of those keyboards were around the $150 - $200 range. |

They aren't too bad of a keyboard, we have sold many here at work and we have on display.
I have a g15 mk II at home and im pretty happy with it. However when I buy a new keyboard im going to replace it with one that has a lot less w@nk factor as you will find that the display on your keyboard is completely useless. I think I have actually used it a few times, the rest of the time its just a clock. When I buy a new keyboard it will be a mechanical type keyboard with switches that go click when you press them. |

IBM Model M for the win! You can buy refurbed ones and they are loud enough to annoy your neighbours. Feels awesome to type/play on, sounds horrible to anyone else. CLACK CLICKETY CLACK CLACK!

Good mechanical keyboards start from around $89 as umart has them from $89.50.
Another brilliant keyboard is the Das Keyboard which starts from around $139. |

Actually, that is an awesome keyboard too Phil. I love that you can get it with totally blank keys, looks like the monolith out of 2001: A Space Oddysee.

I have an Apple aluminium keyboard (USB not wireless) paired with a Microsoft Sidewinder mouse. Absolutely love the combination but I guess I haven't used many other keyboards/mice
I was having a look at switching to a Logitech G19 as well as a G9x however I'd rather save my pennies; My keyboard and mouse works so there's no real point in switching.

I was thinking about a new keyboard to recently. I agree Samsara wouldn't buy a keyboard with a screen. I have no business looking at my keyboard. Here some website that might be helpful;
Type Keyboard comparison Cherry Switch info I had a third but can't find it in my history |

wel even though I can't type for ****. I tooo bought a new one recentlly been through 4 - did Mk240 or MK420 sets all them wrieless types
but always kept my original Lgitech mouse with rechargable base station. but need ed a new key board see I use it in my bed becausse it's only place I can use the internet. Plus it's only time i am on my PC. So I bought the latest Logitech Solar panel one - the K750. So far so good. All the others I've broken buttons on them or well I think one It might havee been the number of times I left it on the floor and walked on it. But this things is nice. They say 3 months charge well ? I don't know it works it's nice wireless etc. |
