After about 10 - 15 mins of driving if I put my foot on the break or indicate the cd player pauses then starts up again, Or it turns off and then turns on agian a few seaconds. When it does this it doesnt keep the radio in tune and the settings go back to the preset any help would be great. I have cheacked my connections and they are fine.[/colorost_uid0]

[color=#000000ost_uid0]maybe something dodgy with the wiring further up the track like at the fuse box ??

or the insides could be damamged and shaking around, or only just touching a connection.

i reckon do a quick replacement with another head unit to see if that does the same thing. that way u will know if its the HU or the car's wiring.[/colorost_uid0]

[color=#000000ost_uid0]i had a mate who had so much crap on his accessories type circuit in his rx7 that the HU couldnt draw enuff power to remain on, and had similar symptoms to urs, so consider checking out what else might be drawing power from the same circuit, or running a dedicated one for the HU[/colorost_uid0]
