My girlfriend didn't get the OP she wanted to get into her course. She went overseas for two years and worked. When she came back, she applied for Uni without an OP. But she had to write a strong letter as to why she should be accepted and had to get some references. I'm at work today too But I have a free night tonight - first free Wednesday in ages

Was supposed to be flying to Gold Coast.
Weather was feral, so on first landing attempt had to do an emergency touch and go. Scariest thing I've ever been in, the relaxing feeling of the back wheels touching down and then hearing the engines get pushed to full throttle And getting slammed back into your seat. Second landing attempt didn't even touch the ground before doing an emergency go around, again slammed into seat and all we hear from the PA is "we are being diverted to our alternate airport as we are too low on fuel to attempt to land without clear skies. " Righto, fly to Brisbane, whether also shocking. Managed to get the thing on the ground but, not without a lot of turbulence and what I can only imagine was wind shear at the last second. They refused to fly us to the gold coast cause Of weather and gave us food vouchers for $6, which expired in October. :/ Was told a bus would take us there but wouldn be there for 2 hours. :/ Currently sitting on a bus listening to the turbo and trying to relax for once I get to coolangstta airport I then have to drive to ballina, :/ Probably not gunna make it to my destination before Christmas Day. :/ All I can say is bah humbug.

Wow sounds like you had a scary flight there.
It takes about an hour and a half to get from Coolingatta to Ballina so you should be able to make it tonight without any problems. hope the rest of your holiday is better. |
