you must be pretty strong to make the wheel spin when it was on the ground and in gear!

started to cut meshing for the front bar into shape, updated readers ride with planned mods & status. I've gotta get off my fat ass and finish the started ones

PS. any others BA drivers interested in a custom gauge mounting for 2 x 2 1/16" (52mm) gauges? It will replace the center speaker hole, makes it easy to run wiring to the gauges. I could possibly make a mould of the one i'm working on when done.

im hella pissed off. after sooo many issues getting my power windows in the rear doors the other week, i bought another pair of rear window motors and wiring that was from a kq hatch... but its the exact same as the sedan ones i all ready have! wtf? and the d@#$@$!d didnt even send out the harness with it because he thought i was asking about the little nit of wiring that the motor comes with (a 2cm long piece!) so not im heaps confused, as the motor doesnt seem to fit in there but its meant to somehow? and ive also now gotta wire up the door speakers separately now too which isnt too hard too do, but annoying.

final drive in the gearbox decided to root itself overnight. car still runs but it makes a clicking/buzzing/vibraty noise when you're off the throttle. who knows about G-series gearbox rebuilds or at least the location of a decent G-series box?
